A chilly winter run back in 2019 in Wenatchee. It is almost impossible to see the earbuds under my buff and hair!
Okay, I'm going to be real here, I mostly picked these as my running earbuds because I could get them on the cheap, they were light, and the battery lasted a while. I didn't really put a whole ton of thought into this purchase, but I have been pretty happy with how they work! Ultimately I've found that while I still love running without music and just tuning in to my surroundings, eventually training programs get so dang monotonous and I need something else to keep me going.
I listen to everything from pump up playlists to classical to podcasts on my runs, and listening is pretty flawless with my Tarah Pro earbuds. My ears do not like the simple pods that some ear buds come in, so I really appreciate the contouring fit that the Tarah Pro's give. Some people have complained about connectivity issues with the earbuds, and I have ran into that a couple of times. However, once I turn the device on and off again, it seems to fix itself, so... It works okay for me?!
Honestly that probably occurs every one out of 100 runs, so it isn't a huge issue for me. The one thing that I have found that I am not so psyched about is that these earbuds work so well that they actually block out TOO MUCH sound when I have both buds in. This is great when I am running something like Greenlake and I can just not care about what's going on around me, but on practically any other run, I'll run with one ear bud in and the other tucked under my sports bra strap. I just need to be able to hear the things going on around me. Other than that, I've been loving how they work! Battery life, quick charging, everything.
Pros:
Battery life lasts a long time
Charges quickly
I haven't had too many connectivity issues
Music comes loud and clear
Buds stay in my ears well
Cons:
Sometimes I encounter connectivity issues
With both earbuds in, I can't hear my surroundings
On super long runs or really rainy runs, the buds can start to slip out, but once I configure them with the over-ear fit, I don't have an issue
