This shoe is as common at the crag as a Subaru is in the PNW. Meaning everyone either has one or has a friend who does. And ya know, there's a good reason for it. This shoe is a great option for people who range from just starting out at the gym, to getting focused on outdoor climbs, to climbing 6 pitches up SEWS. I personally got it because my climbing career had turned towards long multipitch days, and these things are comfortable while still giving me the purchase I need on the wall.
After a season of alpine climbing, they still look pretty good
The downside is that since they're not necessarily La Sportiva's top of the line shoe, the rubber isn't either, and it can deteriorate faster than I'd like. That said, it hasn't stopped me from getting the shoe, and I still get a good season or two out of them. Even with my wide feet, these shoes can adjust really well, and I like the fit. Though, this is a one-off for me with La Sportiva. Most of their shoes don't fit my feet at all.
Pros:
Great comfort
Unless you're climbing V6 or 5.12's, this thing has the purchase you need. (Likely ;) Everyone is different)
Leather is durable and has no problem being stuffed into cracks
Cons:
Durability isn't ideal, particularly in the rubber
