A couple hundred miles on 'em and they're still looking pretty strong!
I've been running in the Pureflow since the Pureflow 4-ish, and this shoe has proven to be a great road shoe for me. I initially was turned to them honestly because I took their little online "test" to see which shoe would fit your running profile best, and these came up. The shoe has only a 4mm drop, which I appreciate, as I'd prefer a zero drop shoe but 4 is pretty close. The Pureflow was also a shoe that Brooks claims to be conducive with someone who supinates frequently while running. (Supination is when your foot angles inward, and the stride tends to be on the outside of the foot).
The shoes wear out as I would expect a road shoe to - not too fast but when it does wear out, it is the sole that gets worn down and compressed beyond repair. For me that has been around 400-500 miles with these shoes. All in all a great shoe!
Pros:
Great for supinators (strides that are focused on the outside of the foot too much)
Fits my wide feet okay
I personally love having 0-4mm drop, and this shoe is in that range
Durability is what I'd expect
Cons:
Fit is a little narrow when I first get a new pair, but after a dozen runs it relaxes to my foot well
The tread traps pebbles REAL easily
