After years and years with my beloved Fēnix 3, I upgraded to one with a HR monitor and got the Fēnix 6S. I haven't looked back!

My Fēnix 3 is always with me, and is my most consistent partner. From running to skiing to swimming, I am always using it to track routes. The only sport I don't use it for is rock climbing, however if the climb has a decent approach I occasionally track it.

My trusty Barryvox is the best beacon I have used since I started backcountry skiing in 2016. Super straightforward, great search strip and battery life, and just incredibly reliable. I have loved this piece.

The In-Reach Mini is also a constant companion, mostly during overnight backcountry days, long trail runs, or long alpine climbs. I don't tend to take it on smaller things if I'm going with a partner.

Dan and I got two Link Radios in late 2020, after he had a ski accident with a friend. Everyone was okay, but one thing that made the accident a little smoother was that they had radios. So now, we pretty much always carry these bad boys, and use them a ton!

The Tarah Pro is a great earbud that I use whenever I want to listen to music while running. It has some downsides, but not enough to make me not want to use it to get a good podcast in during a run.
